Father, son killed in road accident in Khammam

Khammam: A man and his son were killed in a road accident at Laxminagar in Tallada mandal in the district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as J Venkateshwarlu (45) and his son Ravindra (19) of Mandalapadu village in Penuballi mandal. They sell ceramic jars and plastic drums at Enkoor and were returning home in an auto trolley as Covid cases were increasing at Enkoor.
The auto trolley in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding lorry. Ravindra died on the spot while his father died while he was being shifted to Wyra for treatment, informed Tallada police.
