February 2025 movie releases: A look at what’s coming
February has a mix of action, romance and thrillers across multiple industries.

Hyderabad: January saw a mix of hits and misses at the box office.
While big films like Game Changer (Ram Charan-Shankar) and Daaku Maharaj (Balakrishna-Bobby) disappointed, Sankranthiki Vastunnam (Venkatesh-Anil Ravipudi) turned out to be a surprise hit.
Pushpa 2: The Rule (Allu Arjun-Sukumar) and Marco (Unni Mukundan-Haneef Adeni) continued to perform well from December into January.
In Bollywood, Deva (Shahid Kapoor-Pooja Hegde) under-performed, while Sky Force (Akshay Kumar) gained some attention.
Now, all eyes are on February, which has a mix of action, romance and thrillers across multiple industries.

• Thandel: A much-anticipated action drama starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film is based on the true story of a fisherman from Srikakulam who gets captured by Pakistani forces.

• Brahma Anandam: Comedy legend Brahmanandam returns to the big screen, sharing the screen with his real-life son Raja Goutham.

• Sundarakanda: A family entertainer starring Nara Rohith, revolving around a man born under Mula Nakshatra, facing constant misfortune in relationships.

• Bhavani Ward 1997: A musical horror drama where a love story turns into a nightmare after an evil spirit takes over.

• Laila: Vishwak Sen surprises fans with a unique role, dressing as a woman in this action drama.

• Captain America: Brave New World: A Marvel superhero film releasing in English, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada

• Dilruba: A romantic entertainer starring Kiran Abbavaram, there is still a slight confusion as its release date is uncertain.
