Few takers for BPharmacy course via Telangana ECET
Only 57 out of 1,287 seats in 123 pharmacy colleges were allocated to students who exercised web options in the Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test final-phase seats allotment

Hyderabad: Nearly 2,500 engineering seats remained vacant after the Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG ECET) 2025 final-phase seat allotment was released on Saturday.
A total of 12,618 seats were up for grabs in 168 engineering colleges, of which 10,129 were allocated, leaving 2,489 seats vacant. Similarly, only 57 out of 1,287 seats in 123 pharmacy colleges were allotted to students who exercised web options.
Candidates who received seat allotment must self-report online via the website https://tgecet.nic.in and pay the tuition fee on or before July 20.
The provisional seat allotment will be automatically cancelled if a candidate fails to self-report online and pay the tuition fee by the deadline. The seat will also be cancelled if the candidate fails to physically report at the allotted college on or before July 22.
The TG ECET is conducted for diploma and BSc Mathematics degree holders seeking lateral entry into second-year undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programmes.
