Fifteen posts of judges vacant in Telangana HC, says Union Law Minister

Hyderabad: Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal informed Rajya Sabha that 15 posts of judges were vacant in the Telangana High Court.

Replying to a question raised by Congress member Anil Kumar Yadav, the Law Minister said 24 permanent and three additional judges were currently working in the State High Court, which was supposed to have 42 judges.

The central government had released funds of Rs. 448.28 crore to Telangana in the last five years for the construction of infrastructure in the courts, he informed.
