Film producer booked for cheating NRI family in Jubilee Hills property dispute
Jubilee Hills police booked film producer Shaik Basha and his wife for allegedly cheating an NRI family by refusing to vacate a leased property. Basha claimed a 99-year lease despite the original 2013 agreement requiring him to vacate in 2023.

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police registered a case against the film producer for allegedly cheating a NRI family after obtaining their property on lease.
According to the police, the suspect Shaik Basha, had obtained a property located at Jubilee Hills road number 25 on lease from one person Tirumal Venkatesh, who is son of Lokeshwari in 2013. He had to vacate and handover the property back to Venkatesh in 2023.
When Venkatesh asked Basha to vacate the property, he showed some papers to the property owner alleging that the property was obtained on lease of 99 years and was allegedly threatening and refusing to vacate the property. The owner Venkatesh approached the police and made a complaint following which the police after verifying the documents registered a case against Basha and his wife.
