Vijayawada: With the deadline for submitting suggestions on reconstitution of the districts in Andhra Pradesh set to close on Thursday, the final notification on this will be issued before the end of March, according to Planning department Secretary Vijay Kumar.
Informing this to media persons here on Wednesday, he said as many as 7,500 suggestions were received by Collectors till date and Vizianagaram district topped with 4,500. In all, people had responded with respect to 60 issues, he stated. “The reviews on the districts ended today. All these would be examined and the final decision will be taken in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. We will issue the final notification before the end of March.
The segregation and allocation of officials and employees to the respective districts will also be completed,” he said.
