Rajanna Sircilla: A fisherman, Gangu Parashuram (45) drowned in Mid Manair reservoir on Tuesday morning.

According to police, a resident of Cheerlavancha of Thangallapalli mandal, Parashuram along with other fishermen entered Mid Manair for fishing in the morning.

While moving in the water on a raft, Parashuram suddenly collapsed into the water. Other fishermen shifted him to the bank. However, he died by that time.

Knowing about the incident, police visited the spot and began investigation by registering the case. Body was shifted to Sircilla hospital for postmortem.
