Five held for illegally selling stamp papers in Hyderabad

The police seized rubber stamps, a laptop, rental agreement signed papers and non-judicial stamp papers

Hyderabad: Five persons, who were selling non-judicial stamp papers illegally, were caught by the KPHB police on Wednesday. The police seized rubber stamps, a laptop, rental agreement signed papers and non-judicial stamp papers.

The arrested persons were illegally selling the non-judicial stamp papers to the public and collecting huge money from them. “The gang members were affixing their signatures and selling the non-judicial stamp papers for the purpose of registration of land-related documents illegally,” said N Ramesh, Sub-Inspector KPHB police station. All of them were presented before the court and remanded.
