Five Maoist militia members arrested in Kothagudem
The arrested have taken part in several violence acts under Cherla police station limits, the ASP said

Kothagudem: Police arrested five Maoist militia members in the forests of Cherla mandal in the district on Friday.
Bhadrachalam ASP, Vineeth G told media persons that the militia members were spotted during combing operations by police and CRPF 141 Bn in the forests in between Battinapalli-Ramachandrapuram villages in the mandal.
During police interrogation, they confessed to having been working under the CPI (Maoist) Party militia commander, Vetti Deva alias Balu. The arrested have taken part in several violence acts under Cherla police station limits, the ASP said.
