Five of family miraculously escape crash on Vijayawada-Eluru highway
Family was on their way to Andhra Pradesh when speeding vehicle coming in the wrong direction rams their car; all five, including two children, injured
Hyderabad: A family of five people travelling in a car had a providential escape when another speeding vehicle rammed their vehicle at the Gannavaram bypass road on the Vijayawada-Eluru highway on Saturday.
The family of Shiva Prasad, who works with a noted company at Sangareddy district, was on their way to Andhra Pradesh when the other vehicle came in the wrong direction at high speed and rammed their car. The car was badly damaged in the mishap.
All five occupants of the car, including two children aged 10 and two, sustained injuries and were rushed to hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
The police reached the spot and, after preliminary inquiry, registered a case. The injured are recuperating in the hospital.
