Hyderabad: The Anti-Human Trafficking wing of the Cyberabad police raided a hotel at Madhapur and rescued five women from an alleged flesh trade racket here on Monday. The police seized Rs.29,650 and eight mobile phones too.
Acting on a tip off, the team raided the hotel and detained two Russian women, one Uzbek national and two women from Uttarakhand. One customer was also taken into custody by the police.
According to the police, the organiser had booked the hotel rooms online and accommodated the five women and was organising prostitution after taking bookings online.
The women were shifted to a rescue home while one agent and a customer were handed over to the Madhapur police for further action.
