Flying squad arrest two persons with Rs 1 lakh cash in Huzurabad

Karimnagar: Flying squad team arrested two persons Nampalli Suman and Mothe Jagadishwar for illegally carrying Rs 1 lakh in cash near Chelpur of Huzurabad mandal on Wednesday. Suman is also accused in the attack on TRS social media activist Nampalli Jagan.
According to police, while checking vehicles near Chelpur on Huzurabad-Jammikunta main road, flying squad team found a car moving under suspicious circumstances.
Two persons Nampalli Suman of Bornapalli of Huzurabad mandal and Mothe Jagadishwar of Marripelligudem, Kamalapur mandal of Hanamkonda district were travelling in the vehicle. Upon checking, officials found Rs 1 lakh cash in the car and handed over the duo to police as the latter failed to produce proper documents for carrying the money. Cops produced them in the court.
Suman was also accused in the attack on TRS activist Jagan that took place in Bornapalli on the night of October 10. Suman along with two of his friends Angira Raju and Nimma Sanjeev allegedly attacked Jagan and thrashed him severely.
Based on the complaint by the victim, police registered the case against the trio and began investigation. While two others were already arrested, Suman was absconding.
