Folk singles to be major highlight in ‘Batch’
The makers released the glimpse of folk singles 'Kalalu Kallalayyaka', 'Guntadu ..', 'Vachindi ra Vachindi ra' on YouTube.
Hyderabad: Music composer Raghu Kunche, who introduced raw music talent to Telugu film industry, has come up with three folk singles in the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Batch’. The single ‘Necklace Golusu’ from Karuna Kumar directorial ‘Palasa 1978’ was a ragging hit. Now similar folk numbers can be seen in the upcoming movie ‘Batch’. Starring actors Satvik Varma and Neha Pathan, the movie is directed by Siva. The film has Raghu Kunche as music composer. Produced by Ramesh Ganamajji, the film’s trailer was unveiled by actor Akash Puri.
The makers released the glimpse of folk singles ‘Kalalu Kallalayyaka’, ‘Guntadu ..’, ‘Vachindi ra Vachindi ra’ on YouTube. “The trailer looks interesting. I think the music is going to be a major highlight of the movie. It’s commendable that the producer is intent on releasing the movie only in theatres. I wish Satvik, who used to be a child artist, all the best,” said Akash Puri.
Actor Chandini thanked the makers for giving her a platform to showcase her talent. She is playing an item number in the movie. Producer Ramesh Ganamajji said, “Although I don’t have prior experience as a producer, I decided to bankroll this project because I loved the story. Music is the biggest asset of our movie. I thank the artists for supporting us even when the shooting got delayed.”
Neha Pathan said, “This is my debut movie. I thank the director and the producer for this opportunity.” Satvik Varma who has acted in over 80 movies said, “I loved the story as soon as I listened to it. Raghu Kunche’s music is a major asset. Every technician was very supportive.”
