Food poisoning at Narsapur function leaves 41 ill

At least 41 people fell ill after consuming food at a function in Narsapur, Medak district. Suspected food poisoning caused vomiting and diarrhoea. Four children in critical condition were shifted to Sangareddy for treatment

Medak: At least 41 people fell ill after having dinner during a function at a function hall in Narsapur town on Friday night. Most of them were close relatives who attended the event.

They developed severe stomach pain and started suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea soon after consuming the food, due to suspected food poisoning. They were rushed to the Area Hospital in Narsapur.


As the condition of four children turned critical, they were shifted to the Government General Hospital in Sangareddy for better treatment.
