Migrant labor couple from MP die of suspected food poisoning in Peddapalli
A migrant labourer couple from Madhya Pradesh died in Peddapalli’s Centenary Colony after complaining of severe stomach pain following dinner. Family members suspected food poisoning, while police registered a case and sent viscera and organ samples for laboratory examination

Peddapalli: A migrant labourer couple from Madhya Pradesh died of suspected food poisoning at Centenary Colony in Ramagiri mandal on Monday.
Police said Ajay (28) and his wife Dineshwari (25) complained of severe stomach pain after having dinner at their home in Wakeelpalli on Sunday night. While Ajay died while being shifted to a hospital in Godavarikhani on Monday, Dineshwari died while undergoing treatment.
Family members suspected that the couple might have died due to food poisoning. The couple had migrated to Wakeelpalli in search of livelihood four years ago.
A case has been registered and an investigation is under way. Police sent samples of the couple’s viscera and other organs to a laboratory for examination.
