Forest staff in Asifabad donate blood to support Thalassemia and Sickle Cell patients
In a commendable show of public service, sixty forest department staffers in Kumram Bheem Asifabad donated blood to support patients with thalassemia and sickle cell disease.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Sixty forest department staffers donated blood for the benefit of patients with thalassemia and sickle cell disease here on Friday. District Forest Officer (DFO) Neeraj Kumar Tebriwal was the chief guest at the event.
Neeraj Kumar was all praise for the staffers for coming forward to donate their blood. He said that any healthy person aged between 18 and 65 years could donate blood. He thanked the representatives of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) for extending their support in organising the blood donation camp.
