Talking about teachers’ issues, the former minister said that the implementation of PRC remained pending. He lauded the students and teachers for exhibiting a record 1,853 projects at the science fair.

Rao wished that the exhibits of students from here would get selected for state-level and national science fairs as many students came up with innovations on par with BTech students.

Later, he held a review meeting with the Siddipet municipal officials. Saying that Siddipet had won many awards in the past decade, he called upon the staff to continue to work in the same direction to keep the town clean and green.

Rao asked them to identify the black spots where the garbage is being dumped quite frequently so as to focus on the place and address the issue. He also enquired about the delay in issuing new house numbers in the town. Chairperson Kadavergu Manjula Rajanarsu, Vice-chairman Kanakaraju and officials were present.
