Former Qutbullapur sub registrar held for registering fraudulently obtained land documents

Hyderabad: The Jeedimetla police arrested former sub registrar of Qutbullapur  for allegedly registering land documents obtained fraudulently by a person.

The official, V Jyothi, who is now working in Chits and Finance Registration office in the city, during her tenure as Qutbullapur SRO had registered land documents submitted by Padmaja Reddy.


The documents pertained to 200 square yards of land located at Qutbullapur mandal.

A case was registered after the scam came to light and Padmaja Reddy was arrested by the police earlier in the case. The police found that the Jyothy had colluded with others and registered the documents.

On Tuesday, the police arrested Jyothi and produced her before the court.
