Former sarpanch makes suicide bid in grama sabha in Jagtial

Jagital: Former Sarpanch Nagaraju made a suicide attempt in Grama Sabha held in Mogilipeta of Mallapur mandal on Friday, in protest against missing of names of eligible people from beneficiaries list.

While the meeting was being conducted, Nagaraju made suicide bid by dousing himself with petrol. Officials prevented him and alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted Nagaraju to the police station.
