Foundation laid for 800 2BHK houses under GWMC limits
While 600 double bedroom houses will be constructed for BPL families at Dupakunta at a cost of Rs 31.80 crore, 200 2BHK houses are meant for journalists of Warangal East constituency at a cost of Rs 10.60 crore.
Warangal Urban: As a part of the State government’s endeavour to ensure that there are no homeless people in the State, MA&UD Minister K T Rama Rao on Monday laid the foundation for the construction of a total of 800 2BHK houses under the GWMC limits.
While 600 double bedroom houses will be constructed for BPL families at Dupakunta at a cost of Rs 31.80 crore, 200 2BHK houses are meant for journalists of Warangal East constituency at a cost of Rs 10.60 crore.
Rama Rao also laid the foundation for the construction of the Haj House at an estimated cost of Rs 2.35 crore for the Muslim community people at Mandi Bazar here besides laying the foundation for Shaadhi Khana at LB Nagar in Warangal.
