Four arrested in Hyderabad ganja case under Operation Dhoolpet
The Prohibition and Excise Department STF team seized 5.24 kilograms of ganja during a raid at Jummerat Bazaar in Hyderabad under Operation Dhoolpet. Four persons were arrested, while four others are absconding. Vehicles and mobile phones were also seized
Hyderabad: As part of ‘Operation Dhoolpet’, the Prohibition and Excise Department STF team raided a house at Jummerat Bazaar and seized 5.24 kilograms of ganja on Saturday.
On receiving information, the team raided the house of Vikas Singh alias Vicky and seized 5.24 kilograms of ganja hidden in one of the rooms.
Vicky was sourcing the ganja from some persons and selling it to customers in the city with the help of his associates, an official said.
The sleuths arrested Vikas Singh, Mithilal Singh, Akash Singh and Vishal Singh. The team also seized four motorcycles and five mobile phones during the raid. Four others involved in the case are absconding.
