KRMB members visits NSP
Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) members Shiva Rajan, Prasad and Thrinadh visited the dam in view of the decision of the Centre to hand over powers of water release, granting approvals for construction of projects and hydel power generation to the two boards – the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) and Godavari River Management Board (GRMB).
They inspected the dam, right canal of NSP, hydel power generation plant, crest gates and their operating system. They also inquired with the engineers of the NSP about the technical details of the projects. They, however, declined to disclose to the media about the purpose of their visit to the project.
