Karimnagar: Four students from the integrated girls’ hostel in Mahatmanagar of Thimmapur mandal, fell sick due to food poisoning on Wednesday evening.

The affected students are from at LMD Government School. Aranya Kalyani, Nandini and five other students had lunch in the school and went to the hostel after classes.

After some time, they developed stomach pain and approached a local private doctor. As four of them did not find any relief, they were shifted to Karimnagar district headquarters hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.

They were served khichdi and eggs for lunch.
