Four-year-old boy dies after falling into hot sambar at residential school in Peddapalli
A four-year-old boy, Mogili Mokshith, died after accidentally falling into a hot sambar bowl at Telangana Social Welfare Residential School in Mallapur, Dharmaram mandal. Police have registered a case following the tragic accident that occurred on his birthday.

Peddapalli: In a tragic incident, a four-year-old boy, Mogili Mokshith, died after accidentally falling into a hot sambar bowl at the Telangana Social Welfare Residential School (Girls) in Mallapur, Dharmaram mandal.
According to police, the boy’s father, Mogili Madhukar, works as a cook in the school and stays in the residential quarters with his wife Sharadha, daughter Sree Mahi and son Mokshith. On Sunday evening, after completing sambar preparation, Madhukar got engaged in other cooking work. Mokshith entered the kitchen, accidentally fell into the hot sambar bowl and suffered severe burn injuries.
He was first rushed to a hospital in Karimnagar, then shifted to MGM Hospital in Warangal, where he died while undergoing treatment on Monday, which was also his birthday. Based on Madhukar’s complaint, police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
Madhukar, a resident of Kotapally in Mancherial district, has been working as a contract cook at the school for the past one-and-a-half years.
