Hyderabad:  Fresh inflows began arriving in the twin reservoirs of Osmansagar and Himayatsagar from the early hours of Saturday, following heavy rainfall in the catchment areas of the Gandipet reservoir in villages including Chevella, Vikarabad, Shankarpally, Mominpally, and Dobi Peta on Friday. These inflows enter the reservoirs through the Musi River.

Similarly, inflows into Himayatsagar arrived from upstream areas including Chevella, Andapur, Kotwal Peta, Narkuda, Tandur, and Moinabad, due to heavy rains on Friday night. These inflows reach the Himayatsagar reservoir via the Esi River.
