Hyderabad: Warangal Police Commissioner Dr. Tarun Joshi on Saturday lent a helping hand to an octogenarian who was helpless in reaching her polling station.
The incident took place when the Commissioner visited the polling station in the Kamalapur constituency during the ongoing Huzurabad by-election and noticed the woman sitting outside the polling booth in a state of inability.
When she told the Commissioner that she reached the wrong polling station, he found her booth and arranged for an auto to take her there.
In an overwhelming emotion, the lady said, “police sir sallaga vundaali (May god bless the police).”
