From Tower Bridge to Kuwait: Overseas BRS units celebrate KCR’s birthday
BRS supporters abroad marked the 72nd birthday of party president and former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao with cake-cutting ceremonies and service activities. Programmes were organised in the UK, Kuwait, USA and Bahrain by NRI BRS units.

Hyderabad: The 72nd birthday of BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was celebrated by party supporters abroad with cake-cutting events and service activities, as NRI BRS units organised programmes in several countries.
In the United Kingdom, a large cake was cut near the iconic Tower Bridge under the leadership of BRS NRI-UK president Naveen Reddy. Participants wished Chandrashekhar Rao a long and healthy life, hoping that he would once again assume office as Chief Minister and further develop Telangana.
In Kuwait, celebrations were led by BRS NRI-Kuwait president Abhilasha Godishala. The programme included a blood donation drive followed by cake-cutting, with participants praying for the BRS chief’s longevity and continued leadership.
In the United States, birthday celebrations were organised in Austin by BRS NRI-USA leaders who conveyed their greetings and praised the former Chief Minister’s leadership in achieving Telangana statehood and steering its development.
In Bahrain, BRS NRI unit members held celebrations at Andalus Garden under the leadership of BRS NRI-Bahrain president Radharapu Satish Kumar. A cake was cut and greetings were extended to the BRS chief.
Across these locations, NRIs and supporters prayed for Chandrashekhar Rao’s good health and long life, reiterating their commitment to his political vision for Telangana. The overseas celebrations formed part of wider birthday events organised by BRS supporters in Telangana and abroad.
