Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar informed to provide modern e-PoS machines to all ration shops in the State. Commission of ration shop dealers was already released up to December and January month’s commission would be provided very soon, he informed and warned dealers not to divert rice.

The Minister on Saturday made a surprise inspection in 149th number ration shop in Kisan Nagar and checked the register and e-PoS machine.

Interacting with the dealer, Kamalakar enquired about the problems of dealers. He spoke with higher officials about technical problems developed in e-PoS machine and instructed officials to solve the issue immediately. He asked them to provide modern e-PoS machines to all ration shops in the State.

Earlier, the he laid the foundation for CC roads in Kisan Nagar here.

Speaking on the occasion he informed to develop outskirt localities of Karimnagar town with a special focus. All earthen roads in the town would be developed as cement roads in the coming future.

Though Kisan Nagar was established 50 years ago, earthen roads have appeared everywhere in the town and cement roads were not formed. Development of the town has taken a backseat due to negligence of the previous government.

Construction of drainages has become difficult due to installation of electiricty poles without plan. After coming to power in the state, Telangana government has allocated highest funds for the development of town especially Kisan Nagar.
