Hyderabad: The State government on Tuesday published the gazette notification enhancing the superannuation age of employees and teachers from 58 years to 61 years. The gazette notification on the Telangana Public Employment (Regulation of Age of Superannuation) (Amendment) Act, 2021, will come into force with effect from March 30, 2021.

The State Legislative Assembly had passed the amendment in tune with the TRS party’s electoral promise made ahead of the 2018 Assembly elections.
