GHMC Reorganization: Commissioners take charge of 3 newly formed Hyderabad civic bodies
The Metropolitan Area & Urban Development Department has reorganised the GHMC into three separate municipal corporations. Orders were issued early Wednesday, following which Jayesh Ranjan assumed charge as Special Officer for all three.

Hyderabad: Soon after the Metropolitan Area & Urban Development (MA&UD) department issued orders reorganising the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) into three municipal corporations, the Commissioners concerned assumed charge on Wednesday.
Orders were issued in the early hours of Wednesday and soon after Jayesh Ranjan, who was appointed as Special Officer for the three municipal corporations, took charge.
While GHMC will continue in the same location at Tank Bund, new office premises were identified for the two municipal corporations—Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation at HMDA premises, Tarnaka, and the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation to be located at National Academy of Construction (NCA) premises, Gachibowli.
RV Karnan, who continues as GHMC Commissioner, assumed charge at the existing GHMC head office at Tank Bund. G Srijana, who was posted as Commissioner, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, took charge at the NAC, Gachibowli, while T Vinay Krishna Reddy, posted as Commissioner, Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation, assumed charge at the HMDA office, Tarnaka.
