Girl dies, two children injured as car rams them in Hyderabad’s Attapur

Hyderabad: A three-year-old girl was killed and two other children got injured when a car rammed a group of children who were playing near their house at Attapur on Sunday evening.

The victim, Ankita (3), along with other children was playing near their house in Panduranganagar Colony at Attapur when a Swift car rammed the children.

Ankita suffered injuries and died on the spot while two other toddlers also suffered injuries.

The injured children were rushed to hospital.

The local people caught the car driver and thrashed him before handing him over to the police.

A case has been registered. The police said the car driver drove his vehicle in a rash manner resulting in the incident.
