Sangareddy: GITAM Deemed to be University has been helping the government-school students of Sangareddy District by distributing notebooks free of cost in association with ITC Bhadrachalam Paper Board. As part of their work, GITAM students along with ITC representatives distributed notebooks and stationery in two primary schools in Rudraram and four Zilla Parishad High Schools in Rudraram, Indrakaran, Kalivemula and Mamidipally villages. They have distributed classmate notebooks to 2,400 students, pens, pen-pencils, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and scales.
The students, teachers, and parents thanked GITAM University for their gesture. Representatives of ITC Feroz Munshi and Malathi, NSS Coordinator, Dr M.Bala Siddulu, General Manager ITC Mario Cherimen, Executive Hospitality GITAM, J Meena and others were present.
