Gitanjali Devashray: Kids craft houses of their own
They integrated Maths by using different shapes to build houses on paper.
Students of class II of Gitanjali Devashray presented their Integrated Project on ‘Houses’. They presented their project beautifully on all subjects. They made different types of houses by using a variety of things like cloth pieces, paper, match-sticks, ice-cream sticks, cotton, stickers etc.
They spoke on the subject in the form of short poems on ‘My House’ while in EVS they wrote about the different materials used in different houses and the places where they are found.
They integrated Maths by using different shapes to build houses on paper. The little ones also wrote a passage in their second language to describe their own house. The children found the project really interesting.
