On the occasion of International Yoga Day, students of pre-primary-I of Gitanjali Devashray took a walk-through nature with ‘Garden Yoga’. It was fun to have kids practice yoga as they formed numerous poses in the form of a tree, seed, flower, butterfly etc. with the help of their parents. The theme was an interesting one and children could relate to it easily. We believe in the philosophy that young children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically it enhances their flexibility and strength and in addition, improves their concentration, the school said in a statement.

The tiny tots enjoyed the session thoroughly and brought in their creativity and imagination while taking the poses of different asanas. It benefitted students tremendously as it helped them improve their concentration and stay connected with nature in times of pandemic.
