The judges not only expressed their joy and gratitude for being invited to the event but also spoke highly of the conduct of the participants of the debate.
The students expressed their opinions clearly and thoughtfully, with great delivery and manner, and hit the bull’s eye in terms of exploring the underlying causes that lead to parental control of career choices or if such a perception is an eye-wash pedaled by nay-sayers who disagree with the open-minded nature of the Indian society.
Although it was a close, the Diamond House comprising Parth Sharma and Harshita Kollakaluri with their well-spoken manner had the judges in awe and took the prize home. Students learned a lot from this experience and vowed to explore issues more.
They understood a great deal about how an idea could be presented from various perspectives, the school said.
