Art workshop
On a different occasion, the school conducted a one of its kind art workshop – ARTISTRY for the students and their parents of classes IV to VIII. Principal Madhvi Chandra conceptualised the idea of the workshop.
The workshop allowed the participants to relax and transport themselves into a world of imagination where the splash of colours played the magic and the outcome was simply mind-blowing.
The workshop included two family bonding art activities— the family tree and the yummy family platter. There were also two creative ideas passed on to the participants as takeaways.
Conducted by the art teachers of Gitanjali Devshala, Nivedita Mishra and Premalatha Bhaskaran, the students from all the branches of the Gitanjali Group of Schools and their participating family members were excitingly engaged in the completion of the art activities. The activities were much liked and appreciated by all and rewardingly enough the children just didn’t want to leave!! Virtual or real, art has its way to influence, illuminate and inspire people, organisers said.
