Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations were a grand affair at Gitanjali Devshala with the pre-primary teachers putting up a beautiful skit showcasing the bond between Krishna and his best friend Sudama. Children rejoiced and watched with wonder and amazement at their teacher’s performance.
The little Krishnas and Gopikas joined along, singing and dancing to the tunes of “Chhoti Chhoti Gayya.” They coloured flutes, made peacock feathers out of paper and also made little mukuts signifying all the favourite trademark accessories of Krishna.
This was also the first time that the children were joined by their classmates from the other sections in the online forum adding to the new acquaintances, vibrancy and hustle-bustle of the festival.
