Hyderabad: The Pre- Primary children of Gitanjali School, Begumpet celebrated Krishna Janmashtami, an annual commemoration of the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Teachers kept their young students riveted to their seats with amusing stories about Krishna. Peacock feather crowns were made and worn.
