Gitanjali Vedika: Children turn nostalgic at virtual party
Hyderabad: Students of class I of Cambridge at Gitanjali Vedika enjoyed a virtual treat. As part of the Buddy Bench initiative to help students overcome the lack of human connection in recent times, the school organised a virtual class party.
This made students nostalgic about the recess hours where they would have fun. The party began with ‘shopping bag’, a merry game to test the children’s agility and quick thinking. The students had to gather fifteen food items that the teacher listed into their shopping bags within a fixed time.
Then it was time to enjoy lip-smacking refreshments and groove to catchy tunes. This was an entertaining day for the teacher too and it warmed her heart to see children having so much fun.
