Gold ornaments worth Rs 8 lakh stolen from Kagaznagar jewellery store
Unknown persons stole around four tolas of gold ornaments worth Rs 8 lakh from a jewellery store in Kagaznagar town on Saturday night. Police inspected the scene, examined CCTV footage and formed special teams to identify and apprehend the offenders
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Unknown persons decamped with around four tolas of gold ornaments from a jewellery store in Kagaznagar town on Saturday night. The value of the property stolen is around Rs 8 lakh.
Police said some unidentified persons made away with the gold ornaments by breaking the shutters of the store at midnight. The masked miscreants stole the ornaments, as per footage recorded on a CCTV camera. They reportedly could not burgle a large number of ornaments as the jewellery was safely locked in a room.
On receiving information, police inspected the scene of the offence and gathered clues. They scanned CCTV camera footage recorded at the shop and other parts of the town. A case has been registered and investigations have been taken up. Special teams have been formed to detect the offenders.
