Gold prices in Hyderabad surge to record high of Rs 1.10 lakh per 10 gms
Gold prices in Hyderabad surged past Rs 1.10 lakh per 10 grams on Tuesday amid festive demand and global cues. Delhi touched a record Rs 1.12 lakh, while silver soared by Rs 2,800 to reach Rs 1.28 lakh per kg

Hyderabad: Driven by a host of local and global factors, gold prices in Hyderabad rose sharply this festive season, with 24K gold price crossing the Rs 1.10 lakh per 10 grams on Tuesday.
The precious metal price for 24K in the city went up by Rs 136 per gram compared to Monday and was priced around Rs 11,029 per gram on Tuesday. Similarly, the 22K gold price leapt from Monday’s pricing by Rs 125 to settle at Rs 10,110 per gram on Tuesday. Even the 18K gold price went up in a day by Rs 102 to Rs 8,272 per gram.
According to details available, gold prices have been rising steadily this month. On August 31, 24K gold was priced at Rs 10,495 per gram, while 22K gold stood at around Rs 9,620 per gram. Within ten days, the price climbed to Rs 10,110.
Meanwhile, gold prices in Delhi skyrocketed by Rs 5,080 to hit an all-time high of Rs 1,12,750 per 10 grams on Tuesday in line with strong global trends. The precious metal prices have added Rs 33,800 per 10 grams or nearly 43 per cent in the current calendar year, climbing from Rs 78,950 per 10 grams on December 31, 2024.
Silver prices also surged by Rs 2,800 to hit a record high of Rs 1,28,800 per kilogramme (inclusive of all taxes) on Tuesday. The precious metal had settled at Rs 1,26,000 per kg in the previous market session.
