Gold, silver ornaments stolen from Mallana Swamy Temple in Ibrahimpatnam
According to the police, the theft occurred at the Mallana Swamy temple located at Uppariguda village in Ibrahimpatnam mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
Hyderabad: Unidentified persons entered into a temple and made away with gold ornaments from the idol of the deity at Ibrahimpatnam in Ranga Reddy district on Sunday.
According to the police, the theft occurred at the Mallana Swamy temple located at Uppariguda village in Ibrahimpatnam mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
The theft came to light when some devotees who went for prayers noticed the idol of the deity lying on the ground and found gold ornaments weighing 7.5 tolas and silver articles were missing.
Upon receiving a complaint, the Ibrahimpatnam police registered a case and are investigating.
