Nalgonda: Miryalaguda MLA N Bhaskar Rao on Sunday said the State government was striving to bring about a qualitative change in the lives of the people of the State.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for drainage works at Hanumanpet in Miryalaguda town, which was taken up at a cost of Rs 20 lakh, he said the State government has taken up different schemes to improve the living conditions of all sections of the people in the State. The schemes have started yielding results, which were reflecting in the lives of different sections of the people. Farmers are leading a dignified life with their improved income due to the initiatives by the State government taken up for the revival of the agriculture sector.
Stating that Miryalaguda town has stood on top in the implementation of Pattana Pragathi programme, he exuded confidence that Miryalaguda would soon emerge as a model town in the State. He also instructed the officials to further speed up the development works in all the wards of the town.
He said that transparency was ensured in the execution of works that have been taken up under the Pattana Pragathi programme.
Miryalaguda Municipal Chairman Tirunagari Bhargav, Vice Chairman Kurra Vishnu and councilors of different wards also attended the programme.
