Hyderabad: A grace period of 5 minutes will be given to students who arrive late for the Intermediate Public Examinations, 2025, being held from March 5 to March 25, Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) on Monday said.
The IPE exams will take place from 9 am to 12 pm and students are advised to reach their centers by 8.45 am, and those arriving late will be given a grace period of 5 minutes, TGBIE said.
The use of electronic gadgets, including mobile phones, smart and regular watches is strictly prohibited inside examination halls. Students must deposit these items in the designated adjoining rooms at the centres. A bell will ring every half hour to inform students of the time during the examination.
For students requiring assistance, scribes will be provided under the supervision of the Chief Superintendents. To facilitate students, adequate transportation, drinking water, and healthcare amenities have been arranged at all examination centers.
A total of 9,96,971 students will appear for the exams across 1,532 centers in Telangana State, the BIE officials said. A control room (040- 24600110), which will be functional between 8 am and 8 pm, has been established at the TGBIE office to address student grievances.
About 1,532 examination personnel, including Chief Superintendents, Departmental Officers, Invigilators, Flying Squads, and Sitting Squads, have been deployed to ensure the exams are conducted in a free and fair manner.
Students can reach out via IVR (Interactive Voice Response) at 9240205555 for immediate assistance. To prevent malpractice, all examination centers are equipped with CCTV cameras, monitored through 33 screens at the Command Control Center at TGBIE.
