Grand celebrations at Hare Krishna Golden Temple mark Sri Gaura Purnima
Keeping in view the current pandemic situation, devotees were allowed for the celebrations in strict adherence to the Covid regulations

Hyderabad: Marking the transcendental appearance of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Sri Gaura Purnima festival was celebrated grandly at Hare Krishna Golden Temple here on Sunday. Keeping in view the current pandemic situation, devotees were allowed for the celebrations in strict adherence to the Covid regulations.
As part of the festival, Sri Narasimha Homa was performed in the morning. In the afternoon, devotees offered 56 varieties of prasad to the Lord as ‘Chappan Bhog’ including sweets, kara, fried items, fruit juices and others. Later in the evening, a grand Pallaki utsavam of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai was celebrated.
Devotees from different parts of the city participated in the celebrations. Special performances such as skits, traditional dance, kirtans were performed by Hare Krishna youth wing called FOLK (Friends of Lord Krishna) and congregation wing GIFTS (Gauranga International Foundation for Spiritual Services), a press release said.
