GRIET professors ranked among world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford University
Two senior faculty members from GRIET, Hyderabad, Dr. Swadesh Kumar Singh and Dr. Ram Subbiah, have been named among the top 2% scientists globally in a prestigious report by Stanford University and Elsevier. Recognised for their consistent research impact, both professors have earned this distinction for the third year in a row.

Hyderabad: Two faculty members of Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering (GRIET) have figured among the top 2% scientists worldwide in a report jointly prepared by Stanford University, USA and global publishing leader Elsevier.
The recognized professors are Dr. Swadesh Kumar Singh, Dean (Research & Development) and Dr. Ram Subbiah, Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Both professors have achieved this distinction for the third consecutive year, placing them among the world’s leading researchers.
The list was compiled using standardized data on citations, H-index, and multiple bibliometric indicators, and features scientists whose contributions represent the top 2% globally.
The rankings are presented in two categories: career-long impact and research performance for the year 2024. The GRIET management congratulated Dr. Singh and Dr. Subbiah on their achievement.
