GWMC elections: Polling staff dies of cardiac arrest

The deceased, Metuku Ramesh Babu was working as teacher at Kondapurthada primary school in Chilpur mandal of Jangaon district

Warangal Urban: A 54-year-old government school teacher died before going to attend polling duties in the 57th ward (Sammaiah Nagar area) in Hanamkonda here on Friday.

It is learnt that he made all the arrangements at the polling station and had left for his residence in Sammaiahnagar late on Thursday night. He reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and died around 6 am on Friday while he was about to leave for the polling station.
