Warangal Urban: A 54-year-old government school teacher died before going to attend polling duties in the 57th ward (Sammaiah Nagar area) in Hanamkonda here on Friday.
Metuku Ramesh Babu was working at Kondapurthada primary school in Chilpur mandal of Jangaon district.
It is learnt that he made all the arrangements at the polling station and had left for his residence in Sammaiahnagar late on Thursday night. He reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and died around 6 am on Friday while he was about to leave for the polling station.
