Hyderabad: Experimenting with bizarre food combinations is quite gutsy. Well, increasing migration over the years has led to a very interesting amalgamation of varying cultures and tastes – not just in terms of style of dressing or impact of language but also in terms of cuisine.
This time, it is ‘chaat’ mixed with a Punjabi gravy curry. You must have tried Chocolate golgappe, Meetha golgappe and even Fire golgappe but this ‘Butter Chicken Golgappe’ is some other level of bizarreness.
Shared by a Twitter user named Devlina, the dish, as the name suggests, is a combination of a classic chicken dish, made in the Punjabi households, and the popular street snack. The filling will be that of the delicious butter chicken gravy.
As the post was shared, netizens had a much-divided opinion on the bizarre food combination. Several netizens seemed to be put off and felt it spoilt the taste of the individual dishes, while many thought it is not something that one should try in life.
However, on the other side, many were keen on giving the combination a try. “That golgappa will add a bit crunch and taste nice i believe(sic),” a user said.
“I will eat anything that has butter chicken in it. I had butter chicken omelette a few months back,” wrote another.
So, are you willing to give it a try?
