Bhattacharjee’s explosive 111 off 81 balls, laced with 10 boundaries and 4 sixes, along with Gnaneshwar’s 96, powered HAL to 284/4 in 30 overs. In reply, Vidyuth Soudha crumbled under the fiery spells of Ganesh (4/4) and Panne Lal (3/5), getting bundled out for just 83 in 17.4 overs.
In another match, Praveen Kumar’s all-round brilliance guided BHEL to an 83-run win over Midhani. BHEL managed 133/9 in 25 overs, with Praveen top-scoring with 48. He then starred with the ball, picking up 5/4 to guide his team skittle out Midhani for just 50 in 12.5 overs.
