Health Minister inspects Singur canal breach, travels by tractor due to rains

SANGAREDDY: Health Minister Damodar Raja Narsimha, accompanied by Collector P Pravinya, SP Paritosh Pankaj and other officials, travelled in a tractor to inspect the breach on the distributary canal of the Singur left bank canal at Isojipet in Pulkal mandal on Sunday.
With road connectivity cut off due to slush and flooding, officials arranged a tractor for the Minister and his team to reach the site. The delegation travelled nearly 3 km on the tractor before arriving at the breach point.
After examining the damage, Raja Narsimha directed irrigation officials to begin restoration work immediately. He later visited the Singur reservoir to review inflows.
